FUNd Run



Rather than sell items like wrapping paper or candy, Brockman simply gathers pledges for this fun, community-building event that incorporates one of our principal values – to support growth of the whole child in body, mind, and spirit.

In the past, we have done many fun events leading up to the FUNd Run, like yoga day, hula hoop day, and smoothie day. This year, we will have a pared back, COVID-safe event, but we are excited to be able to continue with this important and special event for our school.

If you are returning to Brockman, hopefully you have seen or heard about a very exciting result of past FUNd Run efforts – the new Upper El playground! We are hopeful that our other two playgrounds will be on the list for a Montessori style upgrade soon, which is one of the reasons we continue to fundraise!

FUNd Run profits also go to support classroom initiatives (this year the PTO bought air purifiers, picnic tables, and handwashing stations for Brockman) and much-loved annual PTO events such as the Brockman Bash and the End of Year Picnic – fingers crossed we will be able to bring those events back next year!

  • 3/8: FUNd Run Kick off (let family and friends know about the FUNd Run and start to share our online links!)
  • 3/8-3/30: fundraising and special virtual challenges to celebrate mind, body, and spirit!
  • 3/31: FUNd Run! (students run by class at school, virtual students participate from home)
  • 4/1: FUNd Run part two! (students run by class at school, virtual students participate from home)

Given COVID, online pledges are best, but we can also accept checks mailed to the school.
